You will have the opportunity to participate in a probing simulation free of charge. Afterwards you have the opportunity to further discuss with the simulation developers and colleagues / peers. November 11th/12th 2016

Swiss Island® will be presented at the SAGSAGA* network event in Dornbirn (Austria). The headline for this event is "Planspielmethoden für Logistik und Supply Chain Management (SCM)". Rüdiger Geist will do a demo workshop with specific focus of Swiss Island^® on handling of subcontractors within the context of SCM.
*) The Swiss Austrian German Simulation And Gaming Association (SAGSAGA) was founded in 2001 in order to promote the method of Gaming Simulation. It is an association of experts from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Swiss Island^® will be presented at the PMUNI* Workshop Budapest organized by Corvinus University of Budapest.

*) PMUni is an international network of universities, universities of applied science, education and research institutions with the overall objective to promote professional education and research in process and project management.

Early in the beginning of 2017 we plan to offer a Swiss Island^® Project Management Simulation afterwork event in Bern (Switzerland).

You will have the opportunity to participate in a probing simulation free of charge. Afterwards we offer the opportunity to further discuss with the simulation developers and colleagues / peers. The simulation will be performed in German.

New Swiss Island® Customers

Since its introduction end of 2015, Swiss Island^® Project Management Simulation was already performed in 5 countries, using different languages and involving different cultures. Over 150 people attended the project management simulation sessions.

bfi, Vienna

End of 2017, bfi Vienna (Fachhochschule des bfiI Wien Ges.m.b.H.) wants to offer Swiss Island® project management simulation to their students as part of their curriculum.

Finance Industry, Switzerland

In October 2016, the IT management team of a large company from the finance industry in Switzerland was using the Swiss Island^® project management simulation as part of their team building event.

Learning with simulations

In November 2016, PM World Jounal will be publishing an article about using simulations in project management trainings, based on a paper by Rüdiger Geist.

New Swiss Island® certified coaches

Two new coaches were certified in October: Josef Gubelmann and Claus-Jürgen Sommer. Welcome in the team of Certified Swiss Island® Coaches. Two more will be trained in February 2017 in Vienna.
