15 people from all over the world were trained in UK with the walkable, English Swiss Island® version. It was presented for future use in their advanced project management training curriculum. Participants as well as management stated that it successfully wrapped up the training and supported transfer from theory into practical application.

After last year training Swiss Island® for the first time, Swiss Island® was performed again with new participants.
This year and on request customer request Swiss Island® walkable version in German was used with the new developed Sponsor Expansion Pack and as part of a PMP preparation course.
The simulation sessions showed that much more discussions between Project Manager and Sponsor happened. Activities of each role during the simulation are much more balanced.

Swiss Island® Simulation was performed with 8 people acting as business analysts, requirements engineers and project managers. It was included in the project management curriculum and conducted with two coaches - one focusing on the Sponsor Group – one on the Project Manager Group. The whole simulation was observed by the customer’s management.
Participants had the opportunity to see the simulated project from a different angle, because the simulated roles were exchanged during the simulation. The training was perceived as very useful by participants and management as well, especially because of thecustomer specific configuration, that was derived from a project manager assessment we did upfront.
The customer decided to use Swiss Island® Simulation in their project manager education. First simulation sessions start end of May / beginning of June 2016
Turkey
Swiss Island® walkable, English version was used as part of a project management training curriculum.12 participants from Iraq joined this simulation session. Feedback was very positive and shows acceptance of Swiss Island® project management simulation also in this industry and culture.

We invited for a Swiss Island®simulation event in Zurich. More than 30 people from various industries and different project management background actively participated in 3 hours after work sessions to learn about Swiss Island®. The feedback was extremely positive.

Further Swiss Island Simulation Development
This expansion pack is available now, and allows to include up to 3 different suppliers into the simulation.
A new format of the walkable game board was produced (3x3m instead of 4x4m), which makes it easier to execute Swiss Island®in an international environment(easier to transport as air cargo and reduced venue requirements).
Development for our business partner website is progressing– targeting for a first presentation during our Train the Trainer session May 19th2016.
